IT Business Applications (ERP) Manager

INEOS Inovyn’s portfolio consists of an extensive range of class-leading products arranged across General Purpose (GP) Vinyls; Specialty Vinyls; Organic Chlorine Derivatives; Chlor Alkali; Hydrogen; INEOS Inovyn’s annual commercial production volume is circa 9 million tonnes.

Main role purpose:

To maintain and develop the INEOS Inovyn business systems portfolio as an enabler for business strategies in a timely and cost-effective manner, within the budget and resource constraints. 

Key responsibilities & accountabilities:

  • Manage and develop the global applications team to deliver the agreed level of support for the current, and future portfolio of INEOS Inovyn’s ERP systems and associated applications
  • Develop and deliver the global ERP (and associated applications) strategy and roadmap, ensuring that the portfolio is secure, stable and future focused to meet the needs of the business
  • Negotiate and manage third party contracts and services aligned to ERP and associated applications
  • Develop, implement, and maintain consistent standards, policies and change management processes across INEOS Inovyn’s ERP systems and associated applications
  • Establish and maintain a robust data management strategy ensuring ownership and consistency of key master data across INEOS Inovyn’s ERP systems and associated applications

Key skills & experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent with at least 10 years’ experience in SAP application service delivery and project management
  • Extensive experience in the management, support, and development of ERP Systems with detailed all-round knowledge of SAP and its functional modules
  • Experienced in change management in multi-national organisation with proven ability to identify, manage and mitigate risks when delivering change to business-critical systems
  • Broad understanding of the needs of all operational parts of a business and its corporate/fiscal requirements e.g. finance, supply chain, commercial, logistics, manufacturing, and procurement
  • Good understanding and experience of Financial/IT external Audit requirements and the setting and adherence to data and ecurity standards
  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions and identifying opportunities for standardisation
  • Experienced at building teams and partnerships with wide range of internal and external parties, with good negotiation and commercial skills (for both internal customers’ relationship and vendor management)
  • Result orientated with strong interpersonal, communication and people management skills
  • Ability to work independently with, and manage, teams dispersed geographically with different cultural backgrounds
