INEOS Enterprises is a global market leader in the production of intermediary chemicals that are used as an essential input into chemical value chains across a broad variety of end markets and sectors. INEOS Joliet is part of the INEOS Enterprises portfolio. INEOS Joliet is a leading producer of chemical intermediates. At our site in Channahon, Illinois (about 40 miles southwest of Chicago) we produce three products: Purified Isophthalic Acid (PIA) and Maleic Anhydride (MAN).

Roles & Responsibilities
Role includes the support of the department product lines through small projects and a day-to-day technical service emphasis. Required responsibilities include the following:
- Day-to-day interface with operations and maintenance to help maintain, support, troubleshoot, and maximize the unit performance. This also includes preparation and support for unit shutdowns, turnarounds, and start-ups.
- Assist in the monitoring of unit performance variables and support the product line benchmarking effort.
- Application of technical skills to improve the health, safety, and environmental performance of the manufacturing units.
- Seek opportunities to implement process changes that improve quality, reduce operating costs, and increase production.
- Support project activities that include scoping and prioritization, preliminary and detailed process designs, economic evaluation, start-up support, post-audit evaluations and completion of proper documentation.
Demonstrate an ability to work with technology, operations, shared services, marketing, customers, and outside vendors to successfully develop and implement new technology and/or products into the product line process. This effort will require an evaluation of the technology and the development of a testing protocol that will be used in the plant. Also, will be required to become the champion of the new technology to sell to the internal customers and management.

Education:
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Chemical Engineering at an accredited university.
- 3.0 or greater GPA out of 4.0 is required.
- Completion of a minimum 1 year of engineering courses
