INEOS has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our

INEOS Composites Business at our Etain France Plant. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Manufacturing function. This position will report to Asset Engineer.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Evaluate, design and recommend modifications to maintenance & inspection activities to increase the reliability of existing equipment, reduce repair costs and minimize production downtime
  • Identify expensive and unreliable equipment and develop an analysis of the causes of failure (RCA) to implement the necessary improvements
  • Develop preventive/predictive maintenance plans & equipment inspection, ensure completion, return of information
  • Keep the MAXIMO maintenance & inspections software up to date.
  • Assist with production and maintenance. Troubleshoot operational problems, investigate equipment failures, perform tests, develop reports and provide technical assistance as necessary.
  • Provide a troubleshooting and technical support during planned shutdowns (including technical shutdowns) and unplanned shutdowns, prioritize interventions in coordination with services
  • Carry out the planning of maintenance and inspection activities, preparation/signing of work permits/LOTO according to the procedures in place
  • Task assignment according to an appropriate distribution of workload and skills
  • Carry out planning of activities subcontracting, including the implementation of Prevention Plans/Safety Receptions and preparation/signing of work permits/LOTO according to the procedures in place
  • Monitoring the stock of critical maintenance and inspection parts
  • Carry out effective personnel management
  • Establish the goals measurable results of the team and monitor their achievement
  • Collaborate in the continuous improvement of integrated management system ISO 9001

Level of education and experience in general
