Our PVC Production Unit is looking for a gatekeeper to join our team for the Jemeppe-sur-Sambre site.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities : 

  • Validate & facilitate maintenance activity : on a daily basis, understand notifications done by production team (~ 20/day), validate the action to be done with maintenance team based on the notification, complete information necessary to take in charge work order (fluid, material, …), define priority based on criterias (SHE, reliability, …) and discussion with site level, estimate cost before validation of execution and feedback to asset manager for decision.
  • Daily follow-up of maintenance activities : daily planning validated with maintenance teams. Change based on emergencies, attending operational meeting, follow-up progress of critical work (with day foreman), Feedback to production supervisor at the end of the day for completion of work.
  • Scheduling work : Single Point of Contact SPOC for production & maintenance & CAPEX, Prepare Day+1, week+1 planning based on needed maintenance, legal inspections, production requirements, based on week+1, prepare the detailed sequencing of work operations (taking into account co-activitiy or pre-requirement), for plant shutdown, prepare the detailed planning, interface with production supervisor for permit to work validation before the day of execution, feedback to asset manager for mid-term cost evolution.
  • Follow-up of inspection and critical equipment : Follow-up of critical equipment (1 out of 2 pump out of service, …), legal inspection scheduling for the whole year, to review and control the backlog of work order in collaboration with maintenance teams

Key skills and knowledge required : 

  • Industrial Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally in the preparation and management of major outages ;
  • Good command of project management (planning, load/resource adequacy, project management with cross-functional resources) ;
  • Good knowledge of English ;
  • Good knowledge in the different fields of industrial mechanics ;
  • Knowledge of SAP software (or any other CMMS software) and Office is an asset ;
  • Team spirit and good communication skills ;
  • Rigorous, organized, curious, with analytical skills, you know how to build reports, work in a multidisciplinary team and manage cross-functionally ;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit focused on problem solving ;
  • Your home is within 30 minutes of the Jemeppe site;
  • You have license B.
