We are looking for a HRIS and Process Improvement Manager to join our HR team to be responsible for managing and leading the Inovyn human resource information system and to oversee Inovyn’s technology and processes. The role is responsible to lead the digitalization of HR processes, improving current HR processes and employee experiences, and implementing new digital solutions to support business objectives. This role can be based in any of our INEOS Inovyn site/office locations.
Key accountabilities
- Direct and lead the department functions of the human resource information management systems.
- Develop and lead a comprehensive digital strategy for Inovyn that aligns with the overall business strategy and that drives high performance within the organisation
- Lead the implementation of digital solutions to improve HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement
- Design and implement HRIS solutions, including system upgrades and customisations. This also includes the monitoring of the existing applications and recommend improvements
- Lead initiatives to optimize and standardise HR transactional activities. (ie. Payroll centralization – 1 unified payroll system/time registration system)
- Develop standardized reporting and HR dashboard to provide valuable insights to the senior management
- Ensure that all digital solutions comply with data privacy and security regulations
- Provide leadership to HR stakeholders on the use of digital tools and technologies and ensure appropriate training is delivered
- To analyse digital metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure the impact of digital initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends and technologies and recommend new solutions to support business objectives
- Oversee and ensure accurate documentation process manuals are designed and updated for all HRIS processes.
- Work with the HR in formulating organizational policies and procedures; plan for strategic and tactical research, planning, and developmental activities.
- Lead, direct and ultimately responsible for the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches.
Skills and experience required
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, IT, Business Administration or a related field
- 8+ years functional and technical HRIS design, configuration experience
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, internal control and taxes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate within a matrix organisation
- Digital expertise: A strong understanding of digital trends and technologies, as well as experience with digital HR tools and platforms.
- HR knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and HR analytics.
- Strategic thinking: The ability to think strategically and develop long-term digital HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex digital HR concepts in a clear and concise manner, and to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, manage change, and drive innovation.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions, and to develop and implement HR metrics and analytics programs.
- Project management skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Business acumen: A strong understanding of the organization's business and industry, as well as the ability to align digital HR initiatives with the organization's overall strategy and objectives.
