Job Title:

HR Operations Excellence and Talent Management Manager

Role Synopsis:

The HR Operations Excellence and Talent Management Manager provides thought leadership, strong collaboration, and consulting in the areas of HR operation excellence, data analytics and talent management. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HR processes and talent development programs designed to improve retention and engagement, professional development, performance, and organizational capacity.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrates future-oriented thinking to assess and analyze talent management needs across the organization and propose fit for purpose solutions.
  • Designs, implements, and manages various talent management programs like onboarding, employee engagement, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, mentoring, team effectiveness, change management, etc.
  • Works with HR and business Directors to foster a learning community and develop solutions to implement business objectives using talent management programs.
  • Assess company-wide employee developmental needs and partners with HR and business Directors to create and execute plans addressing staff performance, employee engagement, and recognition strategies.
  • Develops and deploys metrics that measure the effectiveness of programs based on qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Deliver descriptive and predictive analytics, ensures annual HR process are understood, communicated, and executed by Managers and HRBP’s on time and quality manner.
  • Administers performance/score cards and metrics for the function that contribute to performance goals.
  • Draws and delivers insights from advanced analytics, research, monitoring, and reporting services to drive clients to act.
  • Works to drive Human resources Functional excellence by assessing the implementation of healthy operational practices. Ensures Human resources team members are knowledgeable and practicing the documented processes and policies.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in broad and progressive experience in Human resources operations excellence, Talent Development and HR generalist roles with demonstrated experience in a combination of program and project management, HR analytics, functional excellence and change management.
  • Advance knowledge in HR systems and experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in chemical industry is preferred.

Technical:

  • Project/ program management
  • Process and value stream mapping
  • Advance Excel knowledge and utilization of BI Tools to create HR analytics and data visualization.
  • Personality and leadership assessment
  • Change management.
  • HRIS knowledge and experience
  • Office 365. Create content/presentations.

Behavioral skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with outstanding oral and written communications and the ability to facilitate training to small and large groups.
  • Must be proactive, innovative, organized and disciplined.
  • Adaptable and innovative in design and execution of programs, processes, and solutions
  • Familiar with eLearning and Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure.
  • Analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Able to balance attention to detail with swift execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at once and prioritize effectively.
  • Relationship / stakeholder management
