The Position: HR Analyst -This position delivers the analyses of HR and people data; identify key trends and contributes to creating HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and improvement of business performance—using HR and people data to provide insights into business performance and suggest areas for and methods of improving operations.
What you will do:
- Make recommendations to improve data and analytics systems and platforms
- Conduct research and select relevant information to analyze themes and trends using primary data sources and business intelligence tools.
- Contribute to the design and creation of reporting strategies and templates.
- Create reports, identifying and interpreting complex patterns and trends, and translating those insights into actionable recommendations.
- Collect business requirements using various methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the needs regarding target user roles and goals.
- Conduct research using primary data sources and select the information needed to analyze themes and trends.
- Identify stakeholders, finding their needs/issues/concerns
- Contribute to developing and testing HR data collection forms or questionnaires to ensure the collection of relevant data in line with defined requirements.
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or similar, Data Analytic certification with relevant experience or a master’s degree.
- Understanding of Human Resource processes and analysis of people data
- Analytical capabilities, including quantitative/qualitative, survey construct
- Ethical and legal requirements of handling employee data
- Data analytical support to improve the experience of the employee life cycle.
- Support employee engagement, culture and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Power BI - Report design including survey tools and Human Resources Information Systems.
- Microsoft Office 365 Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Teams, Yammer, Outlook
Physical demands: Continuous sitting, viewing a computer monitor. Frequent twisting/turning, reaching above shoulder lever, simple grasping/manipulation of both hands and keyboard entry. Occasional travel or light lifting up to 20lbs.
The Location: This opportunity is located in Aurora, Illinois United States (US), only 40 miles from Chicago.
