The Position: GPPS & Styrolux, Lab & Quality Manager, Manages the operations of GPPS & Styrolux plants throughout safe processes, competent personnel and optimization of allocated resources in order to ensure return on investment. As well as managing the organization's Quality Management System, maintaining certifications and quality control laboratory service current and available.
What you will do:
- Plant capacity: Ensure the availability of the plants according the established KPI.
- Operational Efficency: Ensure compliance with key production indicators.
- SHE Excellence/Operational Security: Promote and support 20 Safety Principles and Life-Saving Rules of the Company, ensure compliance with plant safety performance indicators (SPI).
- Operation Profit: Monitor and ensure compliance with established KPIs for all manufacturing-related costs.
- Equipment Availability: Ensure the availability of critital plant equipment according to the established KPI.
- Saffing effectiveneess: Provides leadership to ensure staff's goals.
- Laboratory Operational Efficiency: Guarantee the performance and efficiency of the service provided by the Quality Control Laboratory to the Altamira Site.
- Quality Management System: Ensures the reliability of end-to-end management systems: ISO 9001, IATF 16949, GMP, ISO 14011.
What you will bring:
Level of education and overal experience:
Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineer or similar.
At least 10 years of experience in the chemical/petrochemical area.
At least 8 years of experience in personnel management and plastics transformation process and production.
Management of Quality Management Systems.
Quality Control of Chemical Processes.
English – Advanced
Technical skills:
Knowledge of Plant Maintenance
Resource Planning & Management
Operational Security
Financial & Business Vision
Negotiation and Conflict Management
Preferred SAP system management
Office Tool Management
Knowledge of Quality Control and ISO 9001 / 19011 / 14001 / IATF 16949 / ISO / IEC 17025 / GMP
