Your role:

As Global Consumer & Fleet Events Lead you´re leading the planning & activation of INEOS Grenadier’s consumer & fleet events strategy, working closely with the wider marketing & fleet teams, external suppliers/agencies and other key stakeholders, to deliver experiences for B2C & B2B audiences that have commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a leading, collaborative member of the Global Marketing team to support the delivery of consumer (B2C) & fleet (B2B) brand events in the UK or overseas; incl. planning, ensuring that they are delivered on time, on budget, and to an excellent standard
  • Produce agency briefs for event activations that reflect the INEOS Grenadier brand and objectives in terms of originality, quality, and brand identity
  • Co-ordinate the planning, delivery and reporting of multiple projects/events simultaneously with clarity & ability to prioritise
  • Drive the administrative aspect of every event (i.e. raising of Purchasing Requests & approval of Purchase Orders, processing of invoices, following up payments etc.) with accuracy & efficiency
  • Oversee and manage supplier output/relationships to ensure that they are delivering on their brief, ensuring performance and service level KPIs are met
  • Build lasting, positive relationships with all suppliers (production, creative, logistics etc.) and partners to ensure we maintain a high quality and loyal supplier base
  • Maintain an overview of available assets (e.g. branding/IP, merchandise, event toolkits, content etc.) and ensure that value is gained from every use and activation
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to identify strategic shifts in position that may influence the event strategy and use the information to update planning and activations
  • Research and identify events that fit the brand’s image/connect us with the right audiences, both consumer/B2C & fleet/B2B, to increase brand awareness and product consideration
  • Provide budget recommendations to maximise these opportunities internally and lead conversations/negotiations with suppliers to activate them effectively
  • Support the marketing team in developing the Grenadier’s involvement with other events and businesses among the wider INEOS Group
  • Attend meetings as a representative of the company/global marketing team, internally and externally, providing innovative and creative inputs to discussions
  • Stay informed on new industry trends, venues, suppliers and agencies that match the nature of the Grenadier brand as well as innovative new methods and insights for consumer engagement

Qualifications:

Level of education & experience in general:

  • Undergraduate Degree in relevant field (not essential)
  • 5-7 years’ experience delivering events/experiential activations for B2C/B2B brands/organisations, either agency or client side
  • Experience in the automotive sector is useful but not essential
  • Project Management experience and working towards tight and flexible, changing deadlines essential
  • Cultural understanding and experience of working with multiple markets/regions outside of the UK essential
  • Attention to detail is a key attribute
  • Possess an understanding of designing and delivering events/experiences to deliver upon specific business goals
  • Commercially astute. A successful record in the achievement of targets and objectives including budget management

 Technical skills:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Confidence & expertise in managing projects and influencing agencies
  • Up-to-date knowledge with the latest event and wider marketing trends
  • IT literacy and proficiency in Microsoft applications

Behavioural skills:

  • Creative thinker and problem solver, with proactive ‘can do’ attitude, self-motivated, pragmatic and solutions orientated
  • Willing to make suggestions and challenge but also deliver when required
  • Good at building and maintaining relationships internal and external to the organisation
  • Can hit the ground running and be proactive
