The opportunity
Our FP&A Analyst plays a key role in coordinating the financial input from our global businesses. You’ll assist with the monthly collation and consolidated Acetyls financial results on EBITDA, Working Capital and Cashflow including latest forecasts to allow the Acetyls Board of Directors to make informed business decisions.

Key accountabilities
- Assist with the monthly board presentation of consolidated Acetyls financial results on EBITDA, Working Capital and Cashflow including latest forecasts to allow the Acetyls Board of Directors to make informed business decisions.
- Contribute to the analysis of the financial results, challenge, investigate trends/variances and work with the finance teams to provide full explanations to provide understanding to the key stakeholders to enable the business to effectively manage risk, understand business performance and improve overall results.
- Support the Global Consolidation Manager with any development, improvements and maintenance of the financial reporting models used in the consolidation of the Acetyls financial results (America, Europe, Asia) to ensure internal reporting meets management and the Acetyls board expectations and provides a basis for all INEOS Group reporting.
- Identify errors, find solutions and implement those solutions to achieve a high level, accurate and consistent reporting across the Acetyls finance teams and across INEOS.
- Ensure Acetyls financials reconcile to the HYPERION Group reporting tool.
- Report, control and forecast the Acetyls central costs and the holding and financing entities for the Petchem business as well as upload the reporting entities into HYPERION.
- Assist with the consolidation of Acetyls global budgets/business/strategy plans. Work with the Finance Managers to understand the gross margin, fixed costs and cash flow submissions, and build financial bridges and detailed supporting information for discussions with INEOS Group.
- Responsible for annual global submissions to Group, including but not limited to insurance, turnover, IFRS data capture, bonus, goodwill and refinancing.
- Organise the month end and budget timelines to ensure that Acetyls meets the Group reporting deadlines.
- Assist the Consolidation Manager with the annual budget.
- Prepare financial modeling for ad hoc projects.
- Work with other functions to provide information, share knowledge and understanding of data as and when required.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including banks, auditors, local authorities and financing partners.
- Periodically perform other financial duties, projects and activities as required by the senior management team.
About you
This role requires a sound technical accounting knowledge and strong understanding of the integrated nature of financial reporting, with a strong working knowledge of regional GAAP rule. Working with our Consolidation Manager you’ll bring your experience and expertise to help translate and consolidate our global business results.
You’ll possess strong technical finance experience, (CIMA / ACCA or other accounting qualification preferred), together with significant post-qualification experience with practical financial accounts experience. Well-developed PC skills; and expert knowledge of SAP and HYPERION.
Great stakeholder engagement and communication skills coupled with a flexible approach to provide support to our global business, achieved by either working remotely or extra hours in the office.
A self-starter, you should be a confident communicator who can work with people at all levels of the organization and beyond. You’ll be able to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time, with very little prompting and guidance.
Cultural fluency and experience of working within a large matrix organization would be advantageous and if you have experience of working within the petrochemicals or energy sector again, that would be useful.
