INEOS has an exciting opportunity for a Gelcoats Technical Service representative to join our INEOS Composites business at our Miszewo Plant (Poland).
Reporting to the GC Technology Manager, the incumbent provides technical services to customers which are aligned with business strategy and goals, ensure INEOS Composites Gel Coats are well applied in customer workshops, develop creative solutions to solve complex application issues, provide technical leadership in GC application field.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Work with sales manager to service and retain customers via product value proposition communication, trouble shooting and comprehensive solution offering. Meet business target.
• Enable prompt resolution and support to quality issues at customer sites
• Develop new business opportunities with sales manager in profitable business to meet the Company's development demand
• Communicate with others within the industry to gather useful information and to understand industry-wide marketing trends, bring back insights of competition and market status to business team for new business development and product development projects.
• Suggest improvement ideas for products and applications in served fields, actively participate in new product development projects, make significant contribution in new product launches.
• Responsible for sample request / color match in laboratory Miszewo plant
• Support Plant and pilot productions in Miszewo Plant
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
Level of education & Experience in general
Bachelor or above degree majored in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related science or engineering degree. Gelcoats application experience is a must.
Technical skills
Logical thinking, advanced problem-solving skills, creativity to address sophisticated technical and application issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Good command of written and spoken English; Willing to travel frequently to visit customers (40% max time travelling)
More than 6 years’ application or technical service experience in materials application related fields, application, or technical service experience in gelcoat technologies.
