ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

Grangemouth represents one of INEOS’ largest manufacturing sites by volume of products with our world-scale petrochemical plants making around 1.4 million tonnes per annum of product. One of these products is Ethylene and at the heart of the KG Ethylene Cracker is its nine pyrolysis Furnaces. An exciting opportunity has arose for the right candidate to join the KG Engineering Team for a fixed term in the position of Furnace Project Engineer.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Be capable of acting as the focal point for the execution of inspection and maintenance activities in accordance with the KG Furnace Overhaul Programme including; Health & Safety planning and performance, scope definition, competitive tender activities, estimates, execution schedules, progress reporting and risk management.
  • Be capable of leading all assurance processes including compliance with the requirements defined in the written scheme of examination; quality assurance of all maintenance and repairs; as well as safety, health and environmental performance and the application of lessons learned.

You may also:

  • Have the ability to proactively challenge working practices and engineering standards in an appropriate manner where business or engineering benefits can be achieved.
  • Have the ability to manage uncertainty within the outage programme.
