Title: Furnace Construction Supervisor
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Furnace Construction Supervisor to join our KG Asset.
Key accountabilities
- Co-ordinate/prioritise available work fronts accounting for SIMOPS and outage deadlines by interacting with 3rd party personnel
- Assess suitability of site Risk Assessed Method Statements
- 1st point of contact for on site technical queries
- Drive field work to achieve desired outcomes
- Carry out Quality Assurance tasks (Critical joint witness, Punching etc)
- Order basic outage materials such as bolts and gaskets to meet outage current and upcoming requirements
- Mark cut locations in accordance with site standards
- Work with mechanical and project engineers to achieve outage completion
- ‘Hands on’ approach when required to assist term and other 3rd parties
- Carry out and report SHE compliance audits striving for best in class SHE performance
ABOUT YOU
Required:
- Significant experience in mechanical maintenance or engineering
- Have significant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate experience in driving outcomes
- Have knowledge of maintenance processes
- Have experience in major outages and delivering major scopes of work
- Good team player who can deliver under pressure
- Good decision making and organisational skills
- Good communications skills and ability to communicate clearly with all levels of asset management and 3rd party contractors
Desired:
- Working knowledge of Maximo (CMMS)
- Knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Working knowledge Risk Assessed Permit systems (RAP 4)
Please note there may be a requirement to work additional hours to support business requirements.
