Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: The FMEA moderator take a central role in the topic of risk management product and process. The FMEA method shows and deals with risks in the system, in the design and in the process. In the respective project phases, the FMEA moderator takes over the coordination and moderation of FMEA sessions with the respective departments. Controls the sessions and is responsible for documenting the results.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Planning and execution of FMEA Meeting acc. APQP planning
  • Coordination and moderation of FMEA meetings and documentation of the results
  • Using of FMEA software
  • Ensuring method conformity (FMEA) considering the (VDA & AIAG harmonization)
  • Ensuring to have evidence of capability on safety-, homologation, and special characteristics
  • Ensuring to right prioritise the safety-, homologation- and special characteristics
  • Escalation of massive risks without corrective action
  • Status reporting to the responsible, as well as demonstration of the risks
  • Summaries the interface FMEA results with special characteristics for system suppliers and Ineos Automotive manufacturing plants
  • Measure tracking within the FMEA process
  • Maintain and create standard modules in the FMEA
  • Internal awareness training on FMEA methodology
  • Representation of INEOS Automotive interests in front of the internal and suppliers how many
  • Escalation in the event of deviations from session rules
  • Escalation when deadlines for agreed corrective measures are missed
  • Guarantee the relevant input for the control plan out of the FMEA sessions

What we are looking for:

  • Technical degree in engineering, or vocational education with further expertise (e.g. Technician) and additional training (FMEA Moderator)
  • Experience in Quality Management and Process Technology in Automotive Industry
  • 5 years of professional experience in the field of quality and as FMEA Moderator regarding system, product and process FMEAs
  • Ability to identify technical contexts
  • Good knowledge of product liability law
  • Good knowledge of norms, requirements and their application
  • High team skills
  • High empathy and very good communication skill, motivation skill and enthusiastic capacity – ability to adapt to diverse people and situations
  • Assertiveness, diplomacy, moderation skills
  • Good analytical thinking
  • Good English skills
  • Good MS-Office
  • Willingness to travel for business trips
