Financial Analyst - Manufacturing Cooper River
Location:
Wando, SC (Charleston Area)
Role Synopsis:
The goal of this role is to provide a meaningful analysis for our manufacturing units (PTA & OSBL) & Logistics INEOS plant in Cooper River. The jobholder will deliver fit-for-purpose analysis and deep dives to provide meaningful performance reports and insides to the manufacturing leadership team. The Financial Analyst is in charge to deliver reliable and accurate financial forecasts (GFO) & annual budgets but is also performing excellent variance analyses versus budget and ad-hoc requests throughout the year, enabling the Senior Management to take efficient management decisions.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manufacturing closing (pricing, consumption, production, inventories and intra-divisional process)
- Yield calculation and analysis
- Verification of production metrics
- Full cost analysis of PTA//OSBL product line, including manufacturing variable and fixed production cost (Variable PBM model)
- Logistics cost review with Logistics department on monthly basis
- Provide insides on logistics performance via a meaningful KPI reporting
- Support to annual budget/GFO process for PTA/OSBL
- Support Financial Framework (BIP / 5YS) for manufacturing product lines
- Measure performance/ deviations/ deep dives for BIP initiatives
- Monthly cost reviews with PTA/OSBL manufacturing teams
- Prepare monthly cost review for Management
- Owner SAP access rights and perform SOD control activities
- Supporting GBS accounting
- Catalyst valuation follow-up
- Support for external audit
- Ad hoc analyses
- Coordinate, follow-up, analyze and provide management information of the maintenance & TAR and fixed cost spend
- Control, perform & analyze Plan, GFO, LE, BIP & 5 year shape process for fixed costs
- Support management in continuous improvement of fixed spend
- Maintain good internal control process concerning cost control
- Work together with Procurement to identify savings concerning maintenance spend
- Contact person for datalake and PBM CFC
- Coordinator of mandatory local questionnaires eg. MA 1000
- Provide input for ADD/SUP reporting
- Month end closing activities to ensure correct financial results (utility balance, accruals, TAR reporting)
- Involvement in finance projects: datalake, PBM, 3 PS exercise
- Supporting GBS accounting
- Internal control/support external audit
- Maintain & control internal allocation rates for project activities
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in economics, finance, accounting, or engineering or a related field.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong analytical skills, high level of numeric and financial awareness for business modeling and analysis
- Excellent PC skills, MS Office with strong Excel skills, SAP (MM, CO, FI, SD), Business Warehouse applications
- Uses resources to get things done through formal and informal networks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Dutch) an effectively communicates with individuals at all organizational levels.
