How the Role Fits In & The Main Purpose of the Role:
This position is part of a team of financial professionals who are responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Financial Records and supports the INEOS Treasury, Tax and Finance Department. The team provides financial reporting, analysis, monitoring and transaction processing support management, financial accounting from a global perspective and financial statements. This role requires the ability to communicate with employees, vendors and management of all levels and work in an open environment. The ability to work well in a self-management environment is crucial.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Treasury Forecasting
- Treasury IT2 Reconciliation and review of 1,200 + Bank Accounts
- Treasury Cash Analysis
- Treasury Reporting to Capital
- State Income and Sales Tax ID applications for existing and new businesses
- Review, handle and resolve varied tax issues for all INEOS companies
- Process Domestic invoices and intracompany Wire Transfer Requests for INEOS COMPANIES
- Process Foreign Exchange wires for INEOS USA LLC and monthly repor
- Securitisation Reporting Consolidation for US
- Set-up new state ID’s and Secretary of State company ID’s
- Accounting calculations
- HIPAA Knowledge
- Reconciliation of accounts
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
- Strong organizational and time management skills – some of the work in this role is deadline driven.
- Self-starting individual who can work with a minimum of direction preferred.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to discuss and explain financial transactions and processes in a clear and concise way to individuals across all levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of financial internal control processes.
- Sales and Use Tax Experience is a Plus
