Story so far
Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: The job holder will set up the process and manage the analysis of the field claimed parts in order to improve the quality of the supplier parts and define its responsibility to apply the recovery in collaboration with the accounting departments. The Field Return Specialist manages the product and process maturity of the company´s projects by providing continuously transparency on the level of maturity and the critical paths in the project timelines for all relevant project members, in case of deviations appropriate actions will be defined and implemented.
What you will be doing:
- Manage the analysis of the field claimed parts: define, implement, and maintain the method how the parts come back from the service stations to INEOS field return center
- Define criteria which parts need to be analyzed and train the service stations in collaboration with After Sales
- Plan the equipment, areas and HC for the analysis center based on failure rates of the parts, piece price is also to be taken into consideration
- Monitor the effectiveness of analyses via quality indicators (8D, ppm...) and ensure the implementation of corrective actions
- Deliver the analysis result (root cause) as basis for supplier charge backs to Supplier Quality and Procurement
- Track and follow the supplier recovery in collaboration with the accounting department
- Initiate a failure elimination process based on the root cause of the failed part
- Improve parts quality in collaboration with Supplier Quality and Engineering
What we are looking for:
- Technical degree in engineering or similar studies, or vocational education with further expertise (e.g. Engineer)
- 2-5 years of professional experience in the field of quality and supplier quality
- More than 2 years experiences in Engineering and analysis in automotive industry
- Significant experience of failure elimination methods
- Ability to look and think out of the box
- High team skills
