Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: The Field Quality Lead oversees and manages field problem prevention, developing early detection measures to prevent growth of issues, and field action execution end to end for specific modules. Responsibilities include identifying potential problems, support of root cause analysis, and coordinating corrective field actions. They will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to streamline the problem-solving process and ensure successful campaign execution. Successful execution being measured by timely closing, commercially effective delivery, and no breach of governmental regulations.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • The emploeey provides leadership in (some strategic) projects in all fields regarding problem prevention and recall/campaign execution for their specific module.
  • Defines and aligns collaboration models with business partners in Engineering, Operations, SQE, SCM, Aftersales and others
  • Leads cross-functional teams regarding identification of potential problems, support of root cause analysis, defining resolution lead, overseeing the problem solving team and coordinating corrective field actions
  • Supervises together with recall specialists recall relevant issues in case of non-conformity of safety, emissions, and compliance requirements of the products and/or services from INEOS Automotive according to collaboration model between Plant Campaigns, AS and Field Quality Team
  • Oversees the processes in the responsible area and ensures continuous improvement
  • Tracking and reporting of KPIs for respective modules and escalating through quality committees in case of blocking points
  • Reporting of escalated issues, provide expert assessment to (upper) management of critical aspects regarding safety relevant issues
  • Lead cross-functional problem solving teams based on module team structure

What we are looking for:

  • Technical degree in engineering or similar studies
  • Experience in Quality Management and in Automotive Industry, preferably in the area of field quality
  • Professional experience in the field of problem solving of field issues and failure elimination process
  • Professional experience in the field of complex problem solving methods (e.g. Six Sigma, DOE, 8D, …)
  • High team skills
  • High empathy and very good communication skill, motivation skill and enthusiastic capacity – ability to adapt to diverse people and situations
  • High organizational skills and result orientation
  • Pragmatism and a good understanding of lean principals
  • Very good English skills
  • Good MS-Office knowledge
  • Willingness to travel for business trips
