ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
As Environmental Advisor, you'll provide competent and professional environmental expertise and advice on all aspects of environmental management across a multi-faceted, highly regulated industrial operation.
You will provide day to day support for the delivery of environmental objectives, playing a key role in enhancing business management processes and driving cultural change through rigorous compliance, learning and improvement.
ABOUT YOU
You should:
Hold relevant Engineering / Science / related discipline degree.
Have 3+ years experience in an environmental management position and at least 5 years industry experience (ideally in the Petrochemicals or Oil and Gas sector)
Have experience in the practical application of environmental regulatory requirements, ideally in relation to the Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) regime.
Be able to influence and coach personnel across operating assets and business support functions in order to deliver business environmental strategy and objectives.
Be able to participate and where required, represent the business in discussions with regulators and other key stakeholders.
You may also:
Understand how integrated management systems are structured to deliver compliance and environmental risk reduction in a high hazard business.
Have experience as an environmental auditor with an understanding of internationally recognised environmental standards and their requirements.
