ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
To provide maintenance and installation support for the non plant areas of the O&P site. This includes electrical systems in buildings, workshops and temporary accommodation in accordance with current industry standards e.g. lighting, heating, HVAC, UPS, LV distribution systems.
ABOUT YOU
You should:
- Act as performer in the Ineos permit system for buildings and amenities areas, to ensure risks and permit limitations are fully understood. Ensure work is carried out at the highest level of safety and conforms with site rules.
- Carry out scheduled repairs identified to meet the plan. Ensure work is delivered in a safe and timely manner to meet current INEOS standards. Identify, address and report any issues with the potential to affect scope, progress, quality or cost.
- Provide clear and concise feedback at daily meetings and when appropriate in order to keep job requesters up to date with job progress and completion.
- Scope and estimate own works for all INEOS requested work. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components, to identify hazards, defects and the need to adjust or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
- Provide support to the remaining landlords of O&P UK buildings to ensure electrical compliance is delivered.
You should also have:
- Electrical Maintenance HNC or equivalent qualification time served electrical background with working knowledge or experience.
- City & Guilds 2391 test & inspection or equivalent.
- Approved installation electrician.
- Current edition wiring regulations.
- Knowledge of hazardous areas
- UK driving licence.
