Document Controller – Business O&P (Agency)
Location - Grangemouth
ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
The O&P Project Team requires a Technical Clerk / Document Controller to support a rolling programme of multi-discipline projects including shutdown events in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
An exciting opportunity for someone who likes to own their own role and be part of a team. This is a role that can be expanded and offers development opportunities.
Key accountabilities
- Issuing and distribution of project documentation in accordance with agreed document distribution matrices
- Ensure all current documents are relevant versions and available at point of use
- Ensure documents from internally and external sources are legible and identifiable
- Checking dispatched documents and drawings are correctly formatted
- Tracking and Reporting on Project Document Status
- Recording and Distributing Incoming Supplier and 3rd Party Documentation
- Interfacing with 3rd party design document control teams
- Maintaining project correspondence and project files
- Sourcing and updating maintenance databases with technical data
- Uploading and indexing of project documentation
- Printing and scanning of site documentation
- Support with collation of punch lists, red line drawings and certification
ABOUT YOU
Would suit candidates with experience in: document control / managing or archiving documentation / working with various databases / highly skilled administration
Desired skills
- HNC in Technical Subject or Business Administration (or similar)
- Working knowledge of document control systems & processes
- Experience and understanding of engineering documentation and terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to plan and organise workload / high level of efficiency
- Proactive, resourceful, positive attitude, confidence to influence, flexible approach to work
