Story so far

Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017,  our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Digital Product Owner

The Digital BAU Product Owner will play a critical role in evaluating and prioritising the development requirements of existing digital products, across eCommerce, Partner Portal, eShop.  The Digital BAU Product Owner will work closely with key business stakeholders to define, manage and support the delivery of fixes, enhancements and ways of working improvements to our digital landscape. In summary, Digital BAU Product Owner will be responsible for shaping the short-term priorities, from initial scoping, planning, estimating, and scheduling, through to delivery and supporting testing. Overall, ensuring IAL provide an excellent customer experience across all digital channels.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Own and manage the Product backlog, ensuring critical Commercial items are prioritised
  • Engage closely with business stakeholders to understand the business requirements
  • Working closely with the Regional teams to understand blockers in the sales journey, improvement opportunities and customer journey enhancements
  • Directing scrum/delivery teams as the Digital BAU Product Owner to manage the planned release programme to deliver fixes and enhancements, supported by IT
  • Oversee the IT Business Analyst/s to ensure the business requirements are robust and clearly documented (dotted line reporting)
  • Provide direction to development teams, utilising Agile delivery methodology to create and manage requirements, ensuring the team has the required tasks to work on
  • Consult with the business and developers to plan and prioritise feature backlog and development for the BAU projects
  • Work closely with the Solution Architecture lead to understand dependencies and impacts of planned development across the wider digital landscape
  • Define ways of working, processes and best practice for identification of enhancements

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working within the automotive industry desired
  • Experience in Digital/E-Commerce roles
  • Previous experience with SAP (S4, C4C, Commerce Cloud) desired
  • Experience with UX/UI design would be beneficial Experience working across multiple markets is beneficial
  • Strong commercial acumen to aid understanding of business value & prioritisation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to use data to derive insight
