We're looking for a Design Engineer - Draughtsperson to join the INEOS Acetyls team.

You will be based at the Hull site, which is the largest producer of acetic acid, acetic anhydride and ethyl acetate in Europe. The products we produce are essential building blocks used in almost every industry, including renewable power, automotive, pharmaceuticals, coatings and textiles.

The Opportunity
The role is responsible for the preparation of designs, 3D models, and detailed drawings that comply with Asset team and Project requirements
- Uphold the “INEOS 20 BEHAVIOURAL & PROCESS SAFETY PRINCIPLES” & “Life Saving Rules” in all activities undertaken.
- National / International Engineering Design standards, Codes and Practices
- Ineos Acetyls Policies, Standards and Procedures
Key accountabilities:
- Prepare designs, 3D models, and detailed drawings
- Produce basic design calculations and stress analysis models
- Updates existing P&Ids, PFD’s, as-builts etc
- QA checking of 3rd party designs
- Coordination with engineers, vendors, and other disciplines
Technical Skills:
- Experience with 2D/3D CAD software. e.g., AutoCAD, Solidworks, Revit
- Experience in preparation of drawings for multiple engineering disciplines, e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Structural, EC&I, Process
- Experience in Theodolite laser measuring and laser survey software
- Experience in QA checking of technically compliant design deliverables in accordance with the input requirements, and ability to identify design issues
- Experience of EDMS software e.g., Opentext and ERP software e.g., SAP
- Experience reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications.
- Experience with working to design codes and industry standards within the Chemical Industry
