ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

A highly motivated person with good IT skills is required to join our team to provide technical systems’ expertise and support Asset and TAR businesses in delivering legal compliance and achieving INEOS OPUK business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing asset care services (maintenance, upgrades, design and modifications), securing systems against cyber threats and assisting with the recovery of programmable systems during major incidents/emergencies to maximize plant availability.

Depending on skill set and experience, the successful candidate may be part of the DCS on-call rota.

The role is also subject to a satisfactory Criminal Record check.

ABOUT YOU

You should have:

Good communication skills
IT skills with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems knowledge with a good understanding of computer systems
Ability to support effective troubleshooting and determine solutions to technical problems
Ability to understand technical instructional material and data and recommend improvements to existing systems

You may also have:

Knowledge of computer networking
Knowledge of backup-recovery process
Ability to monitor and maintain existing control/automation systems so that they continue to deliver safe, reliable and optimal plant operation
Ability to interface with 3^rd party design contractors and vendors
