Job Summary

This supervisory position oversees a construction consultant staff responsible for oil and gas facilities and pipeline installations, removals, and modifications for the South Texas Eagle Ford operations.  This oversight shall include the safe, timely, and cost-effective operations for all Construction team activities. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the day-to-day work activities for a team of field personnel and contractors

  • Inspects work progress, equipment, schedules, and construction locations to verify safety and to ensure company expectations and specifications are met or exceeded

  • Confers with managerial or technical personnel to resolve problems and issues that arise

  • Seeks opportunities to streamline processes, optimize productivity, eliminate inefficiencies, and reduce costs

  • Provide input on facility design and materials utilization

  • Ensure field estimates are timely and accurate

  • Attends production, completion and safety meetings as needed

  • Performs all work in accordance with INEOS SHE guidelines, as well as government regulations and codes

  • Provides direct supervision of personnel. Participate in decisions involving hiring, promotion, compensation administration, and termination of employment

  • Acts as a lead when the superintendent is unavailable

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Advanced knowledge of oil and gas operations

  • Advanced knowledge of oilfield equipment operations, including their designs, uses, repairs and maintenance

Education & Experience

Minimum: High school diploma or GED and 5 - 8 years related work experience or an equivalent substitution for education of 9 - 12 years related work experience
