INEOS FPS

FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Operations Team leader COW, the post holder will manage completions activities to comply with FPS Standards and Procedures.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Point of Contact for all  Maintenance and Operations completions processes to ensure safe plant and equipment start ups
  • Develop Process System methodology for plant release & handback activities
  • Build & Maintain the Completions road map to allow detailed tracking of progress
  • Work with Operations, Maintenance & Contractors to ensure that correct Completions paperwork is in place at each stage of the work execution
  • Present and explain contents of Handover Documents to Construction/Commissioning/Operating Authorities
  • Liaise with leak testing contractor companies to provide joints to be tested within testing envelope
  • Ensure any emergent work is added to the completions system
  • Co-ordinate multi-disciplined walk down of each activity & highlight any punch items required
  • Produce reports on progress and any slippage against plan
  • Provide support role within COW team as required for Work Management and permit readiness

Qualifications, knowledge and Skills

  • HNC or equivalent in a Technical Subject or minimum of 3 years site working experience which can be from a discipline Technician field.
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office packages and Bluebeam or equivalent. Able to learn and use internal systems such as Agility, Synergy and Maximo
  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs/Isometrics
  • Knowledge of site policies and procedures
  • An outgoing and confident disposition with excellent team working and networking skills with peers, managers and contract teams
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure and intelligently to assess and anticipate the requirements of the asset teams
  • Ability to prioritise incoming workload & work to tight deadlines
  • Planning and Organisation Skills
