Chemist (m/f/d)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operating, controlling, regulating, and monitoring our continuous production process either in the field or from the control room

  • Ensuring compliance with high environmental protection and occupational safety standards

  • Flexible deployment across various plant segments and corresponding workstations

  • Conducting inspection rounds and monitoring measuring points

  • Independently identifying and responding to disruptions, irregularities, or breakdowns

  • Issuing work orders and creating reports

  • Performing start-up and shutdown procedures

Requirements:

  • Ideally, a successfully completed apprenticeship as a chemical technician or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of experience working in a production plant with shift work

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

  • Basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage

  • Ability to adapt well in a dynamic environment with rapid changes

  • A team player with strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently

  • Strong awareness of safety and quality

Location:
This position is based in Cologne-Dormagen.
