Job Title: Development Geologist
Summary of Position We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Geologist to help grow the newly formed US onshore division. This role will be within the Business Development group and will report to the VP of Business Development. The successful candidate will lead geologic evaluation of acquisition opportunities within the Eagle Ford, in addition to prospects across North America. Through collaboration with the Subsurface team and the greater US onshore division, the Business Development group will work to understand value creation drivers for Ineos, and propose accretive opportunities that help the company increase in scale and profitability.
Responsibilities
· Assist in identifying and evaluating opportunities in the Eagle Ford and other targeted basins
· Develop and deliver comprehensive technical evaluations that provide actionable insights and a data-driven perspective to inform business decisions
· Utilize large data sets, including seismic, core, logs, and PVT to guide business development workflow and proposals
· Interpret complex geological and geophysical data to provide actionable insights into the most optimized target zone window, well placement, completion strategies and overall development planning approaches
· Identify lithological, mineralogical, and petrophysical characteristics impacting reservoir quality and production potential
· Participate in marketed processes and data room evaluations
· Assist and coordinate due diligence efforts and integration of acquired assets
· Stay abreast of industry transactions, emerging trends, and best practices related to upstream onshore oil and gas
Qualifications
· Authorization to work in the USA
· Bachelors, Master's or Ph.D. in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geoscience or a related field
· At least 5 years of proven upstream or investment bank experience, with a focus on unconventional reservoir characterization and development
· Proficiency in reservoir modeling software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom, Decision Space) and geophysical interpretation tools
· Strong understanding of geophysical and petrophysical properties, log analysis, and core data

· Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
· Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to indirectly lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and summarize conclusions and recommendations clearly

Compensation & Benefits
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to theColorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules. It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation.
Compensation:
The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $120,000 - $165,000 withan opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 27% of eligible pay.This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
