Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we’ve hit some huge milestones along the way. Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years. And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role: as an Advanced Quality Engineering Lead, you´ll ensure the required module quality and product maturity along the Project Phase of several product lines. The job holder will be responsible to reach the defined maturity level for the milestones within the project for the module for each product line. The AQE Lead is responsible to ensure product and traceability including special characteristics.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Define and manage Quality requirements on module level for different product lines
  • Manage aligned maturity level of the module, ensure the agreed project milestones
  • Define and manage process standards for Ineos Production and parts suppliers in collaboration with business partners in the module team
  • Definition of product standards on module team level
  • Assess, align and create and follow up Quality Deviations
  • Support and ensure Quality related KPIs (e.g. supplier nominations, Engineering releases, …)
  • Manage gap and flush activities in the module team
  • Ensure definition and documentation of special characteristics according to Automotive standards
  • Driver to reach of warranty target on module level
  • In case of maturity deviations escalate and define countermeasures in collaboration with the project partners in Engineering and SQE on module level
  • Drive failure elimination process in prototype phase on module level
  • Escalation if quality milestones/targets are not met on module level
  • Evaluation of Quality risks out of the Design FMEA and ensure action plan, therefore participate in D-FMEA Workshops
  • Creation of gauges concepts in collaboration with engineering and measuring technology on module level
  • Creating internal quality sample as master sample, describing internal quality standard in collaboration with manufacturing quality
  • Support of product review preparation and product review release for Q-relevant topics on module level
  • Tracking of project quality targets, in case of deviations implement necessary corrective actions in the respective areas on module level
  • Execution of lessons learned for new projects on module level

What we are looking for:

  • Technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • More than 5 years experiences in the area of Advanced Quality Planning (APQP) and/or Maturity Management (VDA) in one or more module teams at an OEM or a Tier-1-supplier
  • More than 5 years experiences with Q-methods (FMEA, SPC, PPAP, 8D,...)
  • More than 5 years experiences in product and process standards
  • Experience in leading cross functional change management projects
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivery
  • Good knowledge of product liability law and functional safety
  • Very good knowledge of special characteristics
  • Excellent knowledge of norms and customer requirements
  • Excellent English skills, German language skills would be advantage
  • Assertiveness, diplomacy, moderation skills
  • Teamplayer and excellent communications skills to influence decisions
  • Excellent MS-Office/ SAP knowledge
  • Willingness to travel for business trips
