Account Coordinator

Role synopsis:  

The Account Coordinator is responsible for managing the customer interface from receipt of order through order delivery, post transactional support, and closure as well as dealing with both internal and external queries and messages, keeping people informed as appropriate.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Responsible for handling the entire order-to-cash process for assigned accounts.  Provide back-up to other Acetyls Customer Service Representatives.
  • Responsible and be the lead for rail demurrage process on a quarterly basis.
  • Serve as customer advocate by understanding customer requirements and expectations and acting as liaison between the customer and INEOS support services, including credit, logistics, Product Manager, Eastman manufacturing, and the Sales managers.
  • Work directly with the Sales Managers to build customer loyalty through exceptional service and attention to special needs of the account
  • The Customer Service Representative builds customer loyalty and confidence, enhances sales for INEOS, demonstrates in-depth job knowledge, supports teamwork, commits to personal development, and always exhibits professionalism.
  • Work closely with INEOS Logistics and the Inventory Coordinator to make appropriate decisions as to the entire supply chain from production to terminal to customer.
  • Travel with Sales Managers a few times per year to meet customers in person to establish strong relationship and better understand customers’ hurdles, needs and requirements.

Skills & Knowledge Required

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.  
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics and/or commercial helpful.

Technical skills

  • Excellent organizational skills -- must be able to handle several requests at once and prioritize deadlines
  • 5 years SAP Experience – Required
  • Prior experience in customer service, logistics, business or related field is required
  • Strong PC skills – Expected

Behavioral skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong time management, organization and solving skills.
