About the Role

The Baltimore Warehouse Supervisor role is responsible for supervising the Baltimore Warehouse personnel in the safe, efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and on time shipment of export shipments while driving improvements in safety and cost. The Supervisor develops warehouse personnel through coaching, feedback, and through periodic job performance reviews. This is a salaried exempt position. Hours worked are typically 7:00am-3:30pm. Must be flexible relative to schedule change.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provides leadership and daily direction to the warehouse operators to ensure work is completed safely, timely, efficiently, and accurately while communicating any changes with customer service and integrated business planning groups
  • Monitor and verify warehouse inventory and complete weekly cycles counts
  • Lead daily toolbox talks, safety meetings and overall safety awareness
  • Ensure warehouse activities are performed safely, accurately and legally compliant.
  • Coordinate and support Distribution ISO procedures
  • Ensure scheduled shipments are shipped on time working with Distribution Specialists, Integrated Business Planning and Customer Service Representatives
  • Ensure that the workplace is free of harassment, discrimination and that individuals are treated with respect
  • Adhere to all SHE policies and procedures and INEOS Pigments’ Safety Principles and Life Saving Rules


About You

You should possess:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional educational background preferred, particularly leadership skills
  • A minimum of five (5) years of distribution and logistics experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Functionality with various computer programs (SAP, word, excel, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of safety, environmental and emergency

Schedule/Hours This is a salaried exempt, day shift position.
