Your Career: As a Vehicle Diagnostic Engineer for INEOS Automotive you will work within a scale-up and fast moving environment. You will be surrounded by a team of experts in their field and be given the autonomy and freedom to develop the role as we grow.
The Role: Working closely with the Aftersales, Commercial, and wider Ineos Automotive teams, the Diagnostic Engineer will be responsible for day to day engagement across several internal divisions, from a Diagnostic perspective, whilst ensuring the customer remains the key focus.
The position will work very closely with the Lead Diagnostic Engineer, and will be vital in ensuring we provide solutions to both vehicle & customer issues of the highest standard, consistently and in alignment with our own KPI & SLA targets, whilst also identifying process improvement opportunities. This role will also work very closely with external and internal process’s, teams and individuals and represent the ‘voice of the customer’, whether that customer be an internal Ineos or an external repairer, agent or third party.

For the Vehicle Diagnostic Engineer we are looking for:
- The individual will preferably come from an automotive Diagnostic background, have strong diagnostic and analysis skills and be able to work to a very wide scope of expectations and wear many different hats, but maintain especial focus on Diagnostic topics
- Broad experience, in many, if not all Automotive Aftersales & Technical Quality disciplines
- Customer service skills, which include relationship building across departments and functions both internal and external.
- Diagnostic authoring based systems experience is essential
- Be able to use, understand and develop Diagnostic process’s, S/W authoring solutions, strategies & workstreams according to best practice
- Recognisable technical qualification
