The Position: Turnaround Event Manager - Planned Maintenance Outages - Our Turnaround Event Manager is responsible for the safe planning, scheduling, and cost control for the turnaround events (outages) at our Pasadena and Texas City, Texas styrene monomer manufacturing facilities. We are looking for creative systems and processes for the pre-planning activities, performing the work and keep up with best practices.  This position reports directly to the Site Director of both facilites. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 7  years of petrochemical or refinery experience in an Operations or Maintenance capacity is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of turnaround event planning experience is required.
• Accoplishment of at least 4 full turnaround event management experience required.
• B.S. Degree in Engineering is prefered.
• SAP, Primavera P6 software tool usage is desired.

Responsibilities:  

• Leading a team of 5 for planning, scheduling and coordination of activities for two styrene monomer production facilities.
• Setting the pace and schedule for the turnaround events every 3 years, based on business timelines and ongoing asset improvements.  
• Creating goals for safety, environmental, outage duration and improvements.
•  Provideing  creative systems and processes for turnaround managmeent  to establish a consistent approach. 
•  Be an important partner of the site leadership team.

The Location: This opportunity is primarlily located in Pasadena, Texas and, only 30 miles from Houston.
