We are offering a development role to an individual who is keen to study towards (or is currently working towards) their CIMA or ACCA qualification.

ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

This role will provide business analysis support to improve decision making and deliver business targets. You will have the opportunity to provide financial analysis, planning and forecasting of financial results.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide accurate and timely monthly Fixed Cost reports to key customers.
  • Support key customers to explain the financial results and translate financials to non-financial personnel.
  • Participate in the annual planning and budgeting process to ensure the production of an accurate annual plan that has been clearly explained and analysed.
  • Participate in the process to produce the monthly Operational Fixed Cost financial forecast to provide the latest view on the predicted results.
  • Develop and maintain an approach of continuous improvement to financial management and business process issues.
  • Provide commentary and explanations on variances to Budget for Fixed Costs to ensure a clear understanding of the results.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Be educated to degree level in a Finance, Accountancy or Business related discipline, OR be a school/college leaver with relevant qualifications keen to move into the Finance function
  • Be prepared to study towards professional full CIMA/ACCA certification
  • Have an analytical mindset and problem solving approach
  • Have good IT skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve problems in a logical manner
  • Use a pro-active and self-motivated approach
