The Position: Technical Maritime-Terrestrial - To maintain the continuous operation of Maritime Terminal, though the raw material reception, storage and transferring, to fulfil the productive plants requirements of Altamira site, according to our defined policies, procedures and guidelines.

Required profile:

Level of education & Knowledge:

Technical career or chemical/industrial degree

English basic

Experience in general:

At least 1 year of experience operating centrifugal pumps

At least 1 year of experience handling chemical materials

At least 1 year of experience with chemical vessel discharge

At least 1 year of experience operating refrigeration systems

At least 1 year of experience operating safety and emergency equipment

At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft office management

Responsibilities: 

Raw Material Reception

Responsible to perform the tank truck or iso tank discharge.

To carry out the leak test prior to vessel discharge

Responsible to activate the vapor cleaning tower when discharging Acrylonitrile or Buthylacrilate

Raw Material Storage

Record and verify level, pressure, temperature and product inhibitor according to procedure

To keep the pumping system inside the established pressure limit

To keep the nitrogen/air supply to mechanical seals in pumps according to instructions

Raw Material Trasnferring

Record and verify level, pressure, temperature and pumping rate according to procedure

To activate or deactivate the pumping system to transfer products to site

Responsible to perform the tank truck or iso tank loading

Safety:

Participates in incident investigation, MOC implementation through internal system

Responsible to verify availability of safety equipment

Responsible to carry out tests for firefighting system and emergency generators.

Internal Guidelines

Complies and enforces the internal authorities and policies regarding Quality, Safety, Environmental, Legal and Human Resources.

Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to climb ladders and stairs. Working at height ability.

Must be able to work in confined space.

Must be able for walking up to 2 km daily.

Must be able to swim.

Must be able to work under sun.

The Location: This opportunity is located in  Altamira, Tamulipas
