• Provide technical support and service, including field trial, seminar, innovation workshop and customer’s quality complaint, new business development for standard and specialty product etc. in South China
• Provide inputs and participate on product launch, technical development of products and service to support the implementation of sales strategies

C. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job: Describe the main results expected from the job

1. Key Result Areas :

     Technical support of market strategy

Major Activities:

• Provide technical support such as organizing technical seminar, workshop to introduce and promote products for sales/industry team.
• Propose technical input/recommendation to team for actives implementation based on analysis of product performance vs. competitive product.
• Define and rank performance requirement for technical success.
• Visit customer to collect and analyze field information of customer expectations/problems on product performance/technical service needs to verify product suitability of application.
• Onsite support as trouble shooter and technical consultant, including handling/follow-up complaints on technical related issues.

Satisfy customer and enhance company image

2. Key Result Areas :

Product application and development

Major Activities:

• Identify customer needs and determine their service needs, and procedures to meet their satisfaction with product and services by customer meeting, visit, workshop etc.
• Catch up the business opportunity for our products. Recommend competitive grade and provide technical support on the whole project such as tooling-cut, part-design and material-trial.
• Enhance business opportunities via product application, meet customer’s expectation and solve technical problem.
• Multi-apply the material in different region/ industry/application.
• Recommendations to Team – technical & sales for developing/evaluating product application, defining marketability, notifications and termination of ineffective products.
• Update working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices and share with sale/marketing team.

Conclude the new sales volume by new opportunities identification

3. Key Result Areas :

Product launch

Major Activities :

• Support the product launch team to ensure smooth introduction of the product in customer.
• Communicate with TPM/different regions/countries and share the information during product launch.
• Share with sales and marketing team via reporting/workshops the experience gained during product launch in proper way.
• Justify the sample quantity and work with team for sample arrangement
• Prepare the certification/test report in third-party base on customer need

Launch the product successfully

4. Key Result Area

Technical documentation and project management

Major Activities

• Monitor and update competitors’ information on products and counter-grades performance, production capacity, application and market demand & supply etc.
• Clarify the project requirement and prepare related support document such as datasheet, brochure, catalogue and processing guide .
• Collect application technical information for databank: material/color/test method/authority test lab/secondary processing: painting, electric plate, welding etc.
• Understand the related global regulations and directives such as Low VOC, RoHS, REACH, Food contact, PAHs etc.
• Co-ordinate with product stewardship team to provide necessary reports and declarations to sales and customer.

Outcome

Support commercial requirements by customers, find the business by regulation change and launch the product successfully

D. Requirements:

Level of education & Knowledge:     

• Bachelor or above, major in Polymer or related.

Exepeiroece in general:

• 5-8 years related techincal service experences and work in the acual operation at least 3 years.
• Preferable experence in Auto,Electronics & Household,Toy,HD,B&C and Packaging.

Techincal slills:

• Injection/extrusion specialist
• Secondary processing: painting, electric plating, welding.
• analytics

Others:

• Good written / spoken English
• Good communication skills with sales, customer and understand their requirement
• Familiar with plastics property and application
• Strong self-learning capability
• Good skill at Microsoft office software
• Good presentation skill
