Job Purpose:
You will be responsible for planning and managing of all activities during Unity platform W2W campaign including construction support.
Dimensions:
As TAR / W2W Project Manager you will report to the Operations & Maintenance Manager. You will be the main driver for planning, coordinating and managing all activities for W2W / TAR Campaigns for Unity platform.
Responsibilities AND Accountabilities
The Walk to Work / TAR Project Manager has overview of the complete project, reporting into the Operations and Maintenance manager. The TAR / W2W Project Manager is the main driver for co-ordinating the overall project. Responsibilities include:
- Managing and reporting against milestone plan
- Providing a baseline plan for the TAR / W2W Campaign
- Ensuring stage gate compliance for all planned activities accepted into TAR / W2W plan
- Providing a project POB histogram (Working with the planner)
- Providing information for the steering group to enable correct decisions to be made through project lifecycle
- Managing scope worklist and ensure scope readiness
- Managing scope growth process and coordinate the review of growth requests
- Managing risk register and co-ordinate & chair risk review sessions
- Coordinating sessions with individual SPAs for scope identification and readiness review
- Providing communications packs
- Co-ordinate and manage Risk / SIMOPS workshops
- Providing support to logistics for vessel selection
- Providing W2W documentation i.e. Bridging Document, ComOps Document
- Engaging various stakeholders as required i.e. Vessel supplier
- Reporting on progress to key stakeholders
- Supporting SHE Team to develop the SHE Plan (including waste management) in line with company standards.
- Supporting day-to-day Construction activities / personnel in the safe and structured delivery of workscopes and processes
- Demonstrating high profile and visible safety leadership by example and communication with teams.
- Providing daily support to Offshore Construction personnel
- Identifying adhoc construction team requirements and liaise with SPA’s & vendors for mobilisations, ensuring adhoc personnel are competent and possess the required skills to execute the scopes.
- Constantly strive to obtain maximum productivity and economical use of labour and equipment in order to keep costs within budget.
- Ensure, before any work commences, that all items of material, equipment, scaffolding etc. required are available to avoid abortive and unproductive use of labour.
- Review and agree the overall Construction schedule, including Vendor / Sub-contractors’ schedules and escalate any issues identified.
Skills & Knowledge Required
- Proven track record of planning and leading multi-discipline offshore TARs / W2W Project Campaigns
- Degree qualified in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of reporting progress and producing concise daily reports and handovers.
- Familiar with Management of Change processes.
