TAR QA/Completions Coordinator

FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea.

Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the TAR Manager, the post holder will coordinate completions activity to comply with FPS Standards & the TAR Common Process

Principle Accountabilities

  • Co-ordinate the turnaround completions / quality assurance process to ensure safe plant start up
  • Alignment of completions systems with process systems for plant release & handback activities (approx. 50 separate systems within Kinneil asset)
  • Build & maintain the completions road map to allow detailed tracking of progress
  • Work with operations, maintenance & multiple contractors to ensure that correct QA paperwork is available at each stage of the turnaround
  • Facilitate QA documentation for all work packs generated by the TAR and contract pre engineering teams
  • Ensure any emergent work is added to the completions system in line with current QA documentation
  • Generate and explain contents of handover dossier to construction/commissioning/operating authorities
  • Collate pre TAR system punching output and categorise for criticality of work
  • Collate all work pack data to establish and maintain broken flange register
  • Liaise with leak testing contractor companies to provide joints to be tested within testing envelopes
  • Co-ordinate multi-disciplined walk down of each work pack scope & generate punch list activities
  • Produce reports on progress and any slippage against system handback schedule

Qualifications, knowledge and Skills

  • HNC or equivalent in a Technical Subject or minimum of 3 years site working experience
  • Strong IT skills including MS Office packages and internal systems such as Bluebeam, Traction, Alfresco and Maximo
  • Knowledge of industry QA policies and procedures
  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs/Isometrics
  • An outgoing and confident disposition with excellent team working and networking skills with peers, managers and contract teams
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure and intelligently to assess and anticipate the requirements of the TAR Team
  • Ability to prioritise incoming workload & work to tight deadlines
  • Planning and Organisation Skills
  • Ability to persuade and influence
