Due to establishing a new Centralised Turnaround [TAR] Team we are now looking for someone with   the relevant experience in materials preparation and management, to play a key role in the engineering support and delivery of our Grangemouth Turnaround programmes.

ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY

As a TAR Materials Support you will perform all functions of the TAR stores and be responsible for safe receipt, inspection, location, issue and dispatch of all TAR materials. You will also assist the TAR Materials Coordinator with the identification and procurement of materials for future works on the all Assets.

Key accountabilities

  • Adherence to stores processes, procedures and risk assessments.
  • Ensure all materials held in TAR stores is safely located and stored.
  • Issue material from TAR stores ensuring all materials confirm to the requisition requirements and details on the BOM / Maximo request.
  • Identify and report stock anomalies when issuing materials.
  • Resolve where possible any unknown orders or queries.
  • Adhere to all dispatch and packaging processes & procedures for any materials leaving the complex for either UK or overseas locations.
  • Deliver and collect goods to / from designated delivery points.
  • Ensure materials are in good condition, stored correctly and identified / labelled as required.
  • Assist the TAR materials Coordinator to determine the laydown and storage areas required for each TAR event, to include access/egress.
  • Prepare material take off(s) from TAR and Project isometrics / drawings to identify materials requirements and prepare requisitions.
  • Coordinate with main sites stores for the delivery / pick up of TAR and associated Project materials.
  • Prepare material packages for issue to TAR and Project appointed contractor. Record these transactions, and if required, report any shortages for follow-up.
  • Take delivery of materials, inspect upon delivery, validate against completed BoMs etc.

Please note this role will include some periods of inconvenience to support planned and unplanned plant outages. You will require the ability to work with minimal supervision and have a responsible attitude to work as there is a potential for occasional lone working subject to appropriate risk assessments.

ABOUT YOU

You should:

  • Hold a clean and full UK driving license.
  • Be a qualified Fork Lift Driver (Counterbalance and/or Reach) and any Driving Trainer would be an advantage but training would be provided.
  • Have the ability to use initiative and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail and understand the importance of quality and keeping accurate information/records.
  • Be able to create and maintain records of materials with all relevant details being stored.
  • Have good working knowledge of stores management systems / processes.
  • Have a good level of computer literacy using MS Office products e.g. Excel, Word etc.
