Main role purpose:

The post holder is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all SPVC tanker loading packing facilities and associated equipment to meet INOVYN business objectives. 

Key accountabilities & responsibilities:

  • Comply with all department and Company procedures, systems and instructions relating to the safe operation of the resin barrel loading facility.
  • Safely load barrels and small and big bags with S-PVC to customer requirements.
  • Monitor equipment performance to maximise the safe loading of resin barrels.
  • Maintain safety awareness and standards to achieve sustained improvement in safety performance through BBS.
  • Play an active role in the Company improvement process to promote excellent environmental and quality performance and contribute to cost reduction projects whilst showing an excellent standard of housekeeping across areas of responsibility.
  • Extract information from SAP and other computer programmes relating to loading of resin barrels and provide accurate and concise information in the operator logs and shift handover.

Key skills & experience: 

  • GCSE level education combined with ideally a number of years experience working in a chemical or processing facility. 
  • Demonstrably high commitment and attitude to SHE standards.  
  • Forklift truck licence. 
  • Knowledge of production plant process desirable and experience in loading operations.
  • Excellent attendance and time keeping record; physically fit as many aspects of the job have a high physical content.
  • Team player with a flexible approach to work patterns and skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills; tenacious and high regard for standards and thoroughness.
  • Highly motivated, self-managing individual with a high degree of independence and ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
