The Position: Supply Planner -Styrene Monomer and feedstock planning to include supply, production, purchase, distribution, and disposition to meet INEOS Styrolution needs.

Requirements:

Level of education & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor degree in supply chain, business administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years related experience

Experience in general:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to adapt to the constant changes in the market.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills in SAP, Excel, and other MS Office applications.

Technical skills:

  • CPIM – APIC Certified beneficial

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory to targets established by business. This includes styrene regionally and benzene/ethylbenzene.
  • Determine styrene production rates based on factors including established inventory targets and feedstock supply outlooks. Work with plant operations to implement the rate plan.
  • Work in unison with styrene monomer supply planning colleague to maintain SCIP (Styrene Supply Planning model) for the styrene and polymer sites based on internal and external customer demand.
  • Take the lead on improvements for both SCIP models (North and the South models).
  • Coordinate with Styrene Logistics team, Polymer Logistics team, Polymer Planners, Customer Service, and Sales Managers.
  • Work closely with Sales/Customer Service to respond to inquiries regarding styrene supply, changes in demand and urgent requests.
  • Supply detailed supply forecasts on a routine basis to Logistics for fleet planning purposes.
  • Lead the weekly PSI (Production/Scheduling/Weekly) meetings, Logistics meetings, Operations meetings, and weekly plant run-plan meetings.  Lead monthly Sales/Demand Planning meetings. Participate in monthly polymer S&OP meetings and provide styrene supply data.
  • Maintain the PSI daily. This is includes updating the projected inventory, sales and production to provide an accurate plan in the face of a changing environment.
  • Work with numerous exchange partners on styrene swaps based on volumes, timing and balances.  Also, maintain styrene exchange contracts, balances in SCIP and work with accounting to confirm balances.

The Location: This opportunity is located in League City, Texas, only 15 miles from Houston.
