Supply Chain Supervisor

(INEOS title: PX Commercial Operations Lead)

Purpose of the Job:

The role is to lead PX ops team, manage PX and HAC shipping scheduling, ensure reliable supply to plants while keeping inventory in reasonable level; to monitor risks in purchase to payment process, and ensure compliance to customs regulations and group policy.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job:

Strategy & Planning

Lead PX Operation Team in smooth running, accountable for team’s work result, train up PX ops team members and ensure a healthy technical ladder in place.
Responsible for Zhuhai and Indonesia plant feedstock management, ensure proper inventory level to support sites operation while keeping working capital manageable.
Keep PX Operation fully compliance with group policies, and government regulations.
Collect PX customs clearance documents, review the documents and provide them to customs clearance agents according to AEO requirements
Team members key process output verification and manage team performance KPI. Responsible for PX import custom declaration documents accuracy as well.
Lead process standardization and simplification, pursue continuous improvement to increase operation efficiency and data accuracy.
Collect PX shipping market information and support commercial agility activities, timely follow up commercial decision to design working process for new business module once necessary.
Close monitoring berth, pilot, and other resources availability, overlook terminals efficiency and other performance, minimize impact to demurrage costs.

Main contacts/interfaces:

Supply Chain Manager: Report unregular issues
PX product manager & Supply manager: Exchange info from suppliers and align tactics
Marine schedulers: Direct Reports, monitor and account for their output
SDC: Monitor terminals, manage inventory in tanks
PX suppliers: Vessel nomination and scheduling plan
Shipping owners: Vetting, get accurate info about scheduling, collect shipping market info
Shipping agents: Monitor timing for unloading
Terminals: Monitor unloading efficiency
Customs clearance agents: Unloading efficiency and document accuracy

Required profile:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to work with a wide range of internal and external people
Good negotiation skill to get non-pricing conditions from suppliers
Marketing, product management and/or supply chain management experiences handling product pricing, logistics and manufacturing operating is necessary
With experience of supplier KPI management skill is a good plus.
Bachelor’s degree and above
At least 8 years of working experience in marine logistics and operation
Experience of import/export operation.
Master in Microsoft excel and SAP
Good presentation skills
Professional proficient in oral and written English
