The Position:

The Stores Coordinator is responsible for organizing and managing the Storeroom physical inventory. He/she interacts with the Maintenance Department, Purchasing, Accounting, Supervision, Project Engineers, and Production Process personnel to manage the flow of parts and equipment to the Plant.

INEOS ABS is an affiliate of INEOS Styrolution, with both companies being wholly-owned by INEOS AG. The INEOS ABS manufacturing facility is a chemical plant (producing ABS plastic polymer beads) located in Addyston, OH, just outside of Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities:

  • Ship and receive Plant part and material deliveries.
  • Assist Stores Team Leader in converting requisitions to purchase orders and submitting them to our vendors in SAP.
  • Tracking and submitting, to Team Leader, the cost savings and other KPI’s at month end.
  • Keep the P.O. Log / Confirmations up to date.
  • Assist Plant Personnel in finding parts in Stores.
  • Work with Maintenance Planners or Maintenance Engineers and set up new parts or materials in the Storeroom.
    • Set up parts in SAP.
    • Set up an Info Record and Source Lists.
    • Assign bin locations for inventory.
    • Pull and stage parts for maintenance jobs.
    • May be responsible for the delivery of parts.
  • Dispense Storeroom inventory to Plant personnel.
    • Process inventory requests in SAP.
    • Prepare inventory for pick-up.
  • Work with accounting to develop and maintain a Stores inventory report. 
    • Show all inventory by bin number. 
    • Take scheduled physical inventory.
  • Pick up and process Plant mail with the US Postal Service.
  • Work appropriately with hazardous raw materials.
  • Drive a Fork Truck or company vehicle when needed.
  • Coordinate outside contractors in the area.
  • Work from both verbal and written instructions of Team Leader, Shift Coach, standard operating procedures, etc.
  • Participate in maintenance meetings and safety meetings.
  • Manage SAP Stores Material Master.
  • Participate in and complete all required safety training in a timely manor.
  • Perform job tasks and training requirements as outlined in SOP’s.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work areas and assist in general cleanup as needed or assigned.
  • Attendance and a punctual employee presence are essential.
  • Mount, dismount and drive a forklift.
  • Participation as needed for incident investigations, Management of Change, Process Hazard Analysis/LOPA.
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may not be specifically listed in the position description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level typically associated with the employee’s skills classification of work.
  • Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based on the review and changes of business necessity.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and a minimum of 2 years in a production or maintenance environment.
  • Must pass a post-offer physical and drug test.
  • Must have excellent analytical/problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment with diverse groups.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills (via e-mail and verbal methods).
  • Ability to thoroughly understand and follow complex work procedures.
  • Demonstrated computer skills and the ability to learn SAP.
  • Ability to work with Excel Documents.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Satisfactory completion of unit-defined on-the-job-training certification/qualification, safety training, and all other legally mandated training. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to frequently (70-100%) sit.
  • Must be able to occasionally (30-60%) stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, kneel/crouch/crawl, tolerate repetitive motion, reach at/below shoulder height and possess fine manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to infrequently (10-20%) ascend and descend stairs and reach above shoulder height.
  • Scheduled eight hours per day, five days per week.
  • Must be able to work inside 90% of the time and work outside 10% of the time.
  • Must work alone 50% of the time and work with others 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to frequently operate vehicles (including fork trucks).
  • Must be able to infrequently work in extreme cold or heat, at heights, with automated machinery and around chemicals.
  • Must be able to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, long sleeves, hearing protection, fall protection and other PPE as warranted.
  • Must be able to frequently answer internal customer complaints, work at a moderate or rapid pace and work closely with co-workers.
  • Must be able to infrequently rely on the assistance of others to accomplish daily tasks.
  • Must be able to lift (pushing & pulling effort while stationary) 1-10 lbs. approximately 30 times a day, 11-20 lbs. approximately 30 times a day, 21-30 lbs. approximately 10 time a day, 31-40 lbs. approximately 3 times a day, and 41-50 lbs. approximately 3 times a day.
  • Must be able to carry (pushing & pulling effort while walking) 1-10 lbs. approximately 30 times a day, 11-20 lbs. approximately 30 times a day, 21-30 lbs. approximately 10 time a day, 31-40 lbs. approximately 3 times a day, and 41-50 lbs. approximately 3 times a day.
  • Must be able to complete and maintain INEOS Forklift Driving Certification.
  • Must have the ability to see written documents, computer screens and to adjust focus.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound. Must perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, with or without correction. 
  • This position is considered a “safety critical job”, which requires continuous study (SOP’s, Training Manuals, procedural updates), for the employee to be always alert, able to concentrate on their task at hand, and not impaired by medications (prescription, non-prescription, illegal or legal substances including alcohol), or any other mental condition which adversely affects alertness, concentration, or judgment.
