Site Director Cologne

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for Ineos Styrolution Koeln manufacturing site
• 3 integrated production units (rubber / SAN / compounding) and a logistics terminal for storage and shipping of final products.  
• Requires coordination with / between: INSTY Koeln site departments, Maintenance service providers, Logistics service provider (Katoen Natie), Chempark service / infrastructure provider (Currenta), Ineos Koeln, INSTY functions : commercial, supply chain, finance, operations, procurement, R&D
• Represent INSTY Koeln towards: Authorities + Regulatory Agency, Local community / service organizations 
• Strategic oversight of site, assuring the longer term sustainability and competitiveness of the INSTY Koeln site, including: 
  • Development of the site (infrastructure, available space for expansion, etc.)
  • Workforce – ensuring that capabilities are maintained, knowledge is transferred in view of work force demography. 
• Accountable for Cologne Site manufacturing performance and compliance. These are:
  • Safety, Environmental, Quality, Production
  • Manufacturing cost, Manufacturing personnel

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Education/Experience

• Engineering master
• Basic principles of corporate finance
•  SHE leadership
• 10+ years of experience in plant operation
• 5+ years of experience in personnel supervision / line management
• Experience in production, maintenance, process engineering, project management 
• Experience in maintaining and controlling budgets and costs
• Process engineering, including process safety
