The Position: Senior Tax Analyst, US -The US tax manager is responsible for all aspects of US direct taxes. This position needs to ensure that US income tax compliance, tax provision, audit defense, and strategic tax matters are properly managed and executed. This position is responsible for all US Federal and state tax compliance, i.e., for ensuring that all aspects of US income, franchise and excise taxation are technically correct, performed on time and generate the best results for the Company. This position leads outside tax advisors / out-sourced compliance function. The role is an integral part of the Americas tax team and based out of Aurora.

What you will do:

• Ensures all income tax payments are calculated accurately and submitted timely.
• Coordinates with global and regional transfer pricing functions and Americas Business Partner function to ensure compliance with US transfer pricing regulations (IRC §482).
• Manages various tax audits (Federal and state income taxes).  Work towards successfully closure of tax assessment and pending demands.
• Tracks US tax law developments, implements required changes, and gives updates to stakeholders. Ensures compliance with all business process changes.
• Defines, proposes, and leads strategic US income tax projects that are in best interest of the Company.
• Ensures SAP and other IT tools are compliant with US Federal and state tax laws.
• Mitigates tax risks by timely taking actions.
• Work closely with Finance function to ensure statutory audits are correct from a tax accounting perspective (ASC 740).  This position leads outside tax advisors / out-sourced tax provision function.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Certified Public Accountant elegible
• Certified Public Accountant
• 4+ years of experience, public accounting experience with manufacturing company clients
• Experience in corporate income, excise and franchise tax, including Base Erosion and Anti-Abuse Tax (BEAT), Global Intangible Low-Tax Income (GILTI), and subpart F
• Exposure to US transfer pricing and tax audit defense
• Experience in preparing and presenting analyses of data and support for tax matters
• Technical understanding of US Federal and state income tax
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneSource Tax Provision Software or similar software
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar software
• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) GAAP
