Our Acetyls business is headquartered in London, with our Acetyls Technology team located at our UK manufacturing base in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. Our Senior Technology Development Engineer is based in Hull.
About the Opportunity
The Senior Technology Development Engineer identifies, develops and is accountable for the delivery of process engineering, techno-economic evaluation and sustainability aspects of technology development activities to improve performance across acid, anhydride and EtAc assets globally and to grow and diversify the INEOS Acetyls business.
About you
You will be a chartered Chemical Engineer with deep technical expertise in chemical engineering, conceptual process design and process modelling. You will have experience of scale-up and deployment of technology developments to drive improvement in commercial asset performance, skilled in identification, development and mitigating risks of process technology improvements.
Experience in techno-economic evaluations of existing and new process technologies and assessment of options to improve asset competitiveness is also an advantage.
