A. Purpose /Role of the job
- Pursue sales leads and achieve the personal sales objectives with the Ineos-Styrolution' s product, and work as JTP manager for Japan Transplants in Automotive Industry, Greater China.
- Conduct new business development and customer management by initially identifying potential customers, provision of updated market intelligence to supervisor/team, coordination with CSO personnel where necessary, assistance in product promotion, etc.
B. Environment/Context/Complexity of the job:
- The candidate must be extremely team oriented, as he will be working a member of China automotive team and together with GKA, technical service team, new business development manager, RDC, SCM team as well.
- Another employee' s key responsibility is OEMs/KAMs business development strategy update, especially where Ineos-Styrolution has had historically a low penetration. Employee should have working knowledge of Automotive OEMs and Tier hierarchies in China, regardless the OEMs, Tier' s origin.
C. Responsibilities/ Accountabilities of the job:
- Business development and customer management:
Plan how to establish and maintain account relationships and meet personal sales targets for each assigned account by calling and visiting existing/prospective customers to understand and identify their needs to create a long-term customer supplier relationship. Coordinator and work with technical/customer services/logistic personnel to solve customer complaints. Develop sales and marketing proposal to trace customers’ needs on consumption analysis, product/service performance, technical service’s needs
- Support for sales performance/strategies;
Develop strong client relationships over time that provide significant inputs to planning company product, price and service strategies.
- Product promotion, credit management, market intelligence
Deliver and/or participate sales presentation and workshop to promote sales and sound credit management of allocated accounts in line with company credit policies and provide customer information as inputs to F&A to support revision of credit limit/terms. Collect data to establish a database to obtain, update, maintain and evaluate market trends, the application of product/technology and service needs etc. to support identifying new business opportunities.
D. Required profile:
Level of education & Knowledge:
Prefer bachelor' s degree of business or chemical engineering/ mechanical engineering/automotive engineering or other related subjects with knowledge of finance and accounting and business development competencies in the automotive sector.
Experience in general:
· Familiar with the marketing and selling of plastics in the automotive market.
· Familiarity with Automotive OEMs and Tiers.
· More than three years directly related work experience in Sales, Marketing, or Market Development and more than five years working experience in chemical industry
Technical skills:
· Above average computer skills with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Fluent English in speaking and writing
