OVERVIEW: The SAP Master Data Manager will specialise in master data and data quality management. They will help enrich master data elements and optimize the flow of information between solutions, end users and stakeholders. They will also help ensure data integrity by leading data management efforts across the organization and oversee initiatives for improving data quality processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Constructing, owning, and driving the INEOS Automotive Data Governance and Data Quality roadmap
  • Scoping, servicing, and supporting all new and existing master data within the organisation with the goal of providing robust analytical solutions that support the strategic aims
  • Defining, gathering, inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modelling master data with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision-making
  • Capturing master data requirements to design, extend or maintain, data models which support new and existing business initiatives
  • Creation and maintenance of the data artifacts (data catalogue and data dictionary) and system level documentation
  • Delivering testing, maintaining test scenarios, user acceptance testing and end user training
  • Master data estate and conducting approved technology upgrades, providing technical advice, product information and 3rd line support

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
  • SAP Master Data Management (MDM)
  • SAP Master Data Quality (MDQ)
  • Interaction with other data management / data governance technologies, such as Collibra, Informatica, Ataccama etc.
  • Experience in coding with SQL and manipulating large datasets
  • Experience of implementing end to end master data management processes
  • Experience in building workflows to automate a wide variety of business processes
  • Experience of working on a complex business intelligence programme across divisions
  • Experience in requirement gathering, master data mapping and business process design
  • Experience in time and project management using Agile or Waterfall principals
  • Experience of providing application support across divisions
  • Knowledge of master data and data quality concepts, principals, and best practice
  • Aspiration to constantly learn, improve, and apply sound logic to solve business problems using structured and methodical approaches
  • Good understanding of how data governance activity effectively supports regulatory, security, and compliance requirements
  • Good at building relationships, a creative problem solver, a service and delivery expert, and a great team player able to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies and methodologies
  • Flexible, resourceful, and self-driven.
  • Can work as a part of geographically distributed teams. Inclined to work in collaboration with others and bring the skills necessary to foster that culture
