Regional HR Leader, Americas

INEOS Composites is seeking a Regional HR Leader to act as a business partner and lead our Americas HR team.  The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Americas and will be a key member of the Americas leadership team as well as the global HR leadership team. 

This position will manage the HR function in the Americas and is responsible for recruitment, retention, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, communication, and management of HR process.  The ability to be a cultural champion, drive change and promote safety is essential.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to drive continual improvements
  • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Successfully coach and counsel managers on people and org issues
  • Successfully manage budget
  • Lead succession planning and performance management process
  • Participate and lead Global HR Project teams
  • Lead change management in relation to integration of acquisitions and reorganization
  • Champion culture and employee engagement

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Human Resources or related field; HR certification and Master’s degree preferred
  • 7 years of HR generalist experience and 3 years experience in HR management role
  • Experience in development, and execution of human resources strategies and initiatives, including training and development, succession planning, performance management, and compensation
  • Experience implementing competitive recruiting and hiring processes to attract and retain top talent
  • Demonstrated HR acumen with strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Experience assessing organizational capability to achieve business goals and designing and delivering targeted solutions to address gaps
  • Experience establishing, and tracking success measures to understand the effectiveness of HR performance
  • Demonstrated success in managing HR teams
  • Ability to continually improve, develop and challenge the status quo
  • Problem solver and demonstrated ability to drive and manage change
  • Ability to think strategically but also focus and prioritize tactical operational issues
  • Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and drive change
  • Change management expertise
  • Experience in chemicals or industrial setting preferred
  • HR experience in Brazil and Canada as well as labor relations is a plus
