Ineos has an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Specialist at our plant in Pittsburgh/Neville Island.

Responsibilities include:

  • Indirect purchasing lead of goods and services supporting the manufacturing needs in a chemical plant environment.
  • Partner and communicate with suppliers and vendors, and to respond and address all issues concerning the indirect purchases.
  • Experience in budget management and financial control a plus.
  • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
  • Work with other departments to support their purchasing needs including maintenance and engineering departments.
  • Ability to be cross trained on other roles within the administration functions for the plant to include direct purchasing.

Additional Job Description:

  • Bachelor's degree in business admin, supply chain preferred but not required in lieu of experience.
  • 1+ year experience in industrial supply chain preferred.
  • SAP knowledge required.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player
